Parking-lot wifi
The network is Alice Ward Library 2.4G and the password is canaanvt. It is also posted on the door. If a storm knocks service out, patience helps while it comes back.
Curbside and accessibility
Curbside service runs at all times for anyone who prefers it. If you need another accommodation, ask and the staff will do whatever they can to make the library work for you. Returns go in the book drop on the porch.
Cards for neighbors
Library cards are free and can be issued over the phone. Canaan residents, surrounding communities, and seasonal visitors are all welcome, including friends visiting from across the border near Beecher Falls and East Hereford.
